2011

January: Snow fights with Tracy Blackman. Went to every Oak Canyon home basketball game with my friends. Sluffed a class for the first time. Best friend turned against me.

February: Justin Bieber obsession. Pre-conditioning for track started. Focused on friends and not boys. Made couples feel awkward with Tessa, Steph, and Mal. Jersey Thursdey actually happened.

March: The worst month of the whole year. Track kept me going. Went underground in a tunnel with some friends.

April: Alpine Days and Cheer try outs. On the same day. Chose cheer, only being able to participate in one of my track events (the 100) out of 4. Placed in every run I did and made many new PR's, throughout the season. Got first in high jump every time. No shoes day. Spring break spent with Lexi and Lyndi. Best friends with Steph Kirk.

May: Cheer officially started. Ended my days at the old Oaky. Said bye to all my Timpanogos friends. Hiked the G with the cheer team. Golf cart rides with Steph.

June: Best friends with Cristal and Alisa Ramirez. Got my permit. Early morning cheer everyday 6-9. Rodeo and strawberry days parade with the cheer team. Swam at Brinkerhoff's. Finally got over that boy. Fourth year hike and girls camp.

July: Best month of the whole entire year. Sleepovers at Maddy's, Seven Peaks, Harry Potter 7 Part 2. Walked the streets of PG and Canberra at 3 in the morning being young and reckless. Broke my beloved iPod. Boating with the cheer team. Partied. All nighters. Best friend, Caroline's birthday. Swam at Brinkerhoff's. Youth conference in Moab. Hung with cousins. Cheer camp!

August: Slipped through my fingers. 5k Fun run with all fall PG sports. Hung out with Valerie from California. Swam at Brinkerhoff's. Started cheer again; had cheer boot camp. Started school. Cheered at my first ever football game.

September: Teran came home from his mission in Ecuador. Cheered at West Jordan: the funniest game of my life. Made thousands of new friends at PG.

October: Turned 16! Asked that boy to Sadie's. Was Hot Rod for halloween. Last football game of the year. Made some more new friends.

November: Was such a blur! 11/11/11, went to Sadie's and had a field day. Cheered my first basketball game, reunited with old best friends, Louisa and Mallory.

December: Tons of stuff to cheer at. Worked extra hard on our competition routine. Performed at halftime (felt so good to perform again). Got my first kiss. Spent all my time either with my family or Tracy.

Overall, it was a very good year and an even better summer. It went by waaay too fast. It seems just like yesterday I was at Diana Marsh's New Year's Eve party with all the Oak kids. But, with a new year comes a new you. An improved you. Let's make it another year to remember:)
